Gender always meant "male" or "female", until woke Democrats arbitrarily changed the meaning relatively recently. Sex is a more nebulous word meaning several things, including gender. It is also an abbreviation for "sexual intercourse", sexual intercourse being copulation between opposite members of the two genders.
